The Camden Riversharks and Virtua are dedicating the Saturday, May 2nd game against the Bridgeport Bluefish to all female athletes. For this game, we are inviting all local female athletes, of all levels of competition, to join us as the game begins at 5:35pm and gates open at 4:35pm.
This night will be a great opportunity for team building, while also raising money for your individual team, athletic department or entire school. As a special incentive for setting up a fundraiser on Girls in Sport Night, every online fundraiser will receive $5 back per ticket sold, while in-hand fundraiser can earn up to $7 per ticket sold.
Now that March Madness is over, the Riversharks and Virtua are also looking forward to our Mascot Madness, another event associated with Girls in Sports Night. For Mascot Madness, we are inviting all high school mascots from the area to join in on the fun and enter into our mascot competition. For this competition, mascots will put their skills to the test to prove that they are the ultimate mascot. The winning mascot will be decided through a fan vote, and the school of the winning mascot will be the beneficiary of the additional funds raised by the post-game launch-a-ball contest presented by Virtua.
If you would like your school’s mascot registered for the event, please register as soon as possible, as spots in the competition are limited.
If you have any questions related to Girls in Sports Night or would get your team, organization, or mascot involved, please contact Joe Bartlett at 856.583.0026 or jbartlett@riversharks.com.
